Thanks to everyone for your kind words and prayers for Jody during the past days.
One week ago, he was accidentally shot in the head with a nail gun. Surprisingly, that crazy nail hasn't caused him any real problems so far. He only had to stay in the hospital for 2 days, and the worst complaint he's had since is a headache- imagine that!!
Here's a picture of his CT scan (taken with someone else's camera phone) of the nail before they took it out. Scary!!

Keep praying for his continued well-being. We really appreciate it.
And some more big news...

I HAVE NO MORE AVAILABILITY FOR 2008!!

Isn't that insane? I have met so many wonderful clients this year, who've made me love this hobby-turned-job so much. I'm excited at the direction my business is going, and hope to expand it even more in 2009.

Of course, if I've already talked to you about appointment times, you'll still be worked in.
I'll also be willing to work in newborns, so long as the newborn session is done within the first 7-10 days out of the hospital. That means, if you're having a new baby, you need to call me as soon as you get home!

Keep an eye out as the months go on for contests and promotions for the future.

Today my husband had an accident at work. He seems to be OK, but is in ICU recovering and being observed. I'll be unavailable for a little while until he is on the mend.

I'm so glad you suggested this weird tree- I think it looks so cool.
I think these shots make our trip to the pasture worthwile. The ring looks good on the post, and the barbed wire fence gives it that country flair :)
